As dynamic energy pricing gains momentum across the Netherlands, Zendure and Sunergy have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to help households optimize energy consumption through intelligent residential energy storage solutions.
The partnership comes at a pivotal moment for the Dutch energy market, where the transition toward more flexible and intelligent energy use is accelerating. With the planned end of net metering in 2027 and the introduction of time-of-use tariffs in 2029, consumers are increasingly looking for solutions that can maximize self-consumption, reduce electricity costs, and improve the value of solar energy systems.
Through this collaboration, Zendure and Sunergy aim to combine advanced energy storage technology with local expertise in dynamic energy pricing and energy management. Supported by local partner Natec, the initiative will also strengthen storage, logistics, technical support, and distribution capabilities across the Dutch market.
“Dynamic contracts require smart storage to unlock real value for solar users. Together with Sunergy, we help Dutch households make every kilowatt-hour more valuable by turning storage into an active energy asset,” said Bryan, CEO of Zendure.
At the center of the partnership is Zendure’s SolarFlow 2400 AC+, an AC-coupled plug-and-play energy storage system designed to integrate with existing photovoltaic (PV) installations. The solution offers up to 2400W bi-directional output and scalable storage capacity ranging from 2.4 kWh to 16.8 kWh. Combined with Zendure’s AI-powered energy management technologies, ZENKI 2.0 and HEMS 2.0, the system automatically shifts energy usage between low- and high-price periods, helping homeowners maximize savings and increase energy independence.
Sunergy brings extensive experience in the Dutch dynamic pricing market, providing valuable insights into local consumer behavior, pricing mechanisms, and emerging energy trends.
“Dutch solar panel owners want higher self-consumption and greater energy independence ahead of the end of net metering. Together with Zendure, we deliver a complete solution combining local expertise with innovation,” said Vincent van Rozendaal, Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Sunergy.
Beyond the immediate deployment of smart energy solutions, the partnership establishes a foundation for long-term collaboration through pilot programs, co-branded initiatives, data-driven case studies, and expanded distribution opportunities. Together, Zendure and Sunergy are helping redefine residential energy storage, from a backup power solution into an active tool for optimizing energy use in an increasingly dynamic energy landscape.
