UAE-Based Prop-AI Raises $1.5M in Pre-Seed Round to Revolutionize Real Estate with AI

Dubai-based startup Prop-AI has raised US$1.5 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Plus VC, with participation from Joa Capital, Select Venture Equity, Oraseya Capital (DIEZ), and Plug & Play.

Founded in 2023 by Ranime El Skaff and Christian Knuz, Prop-AI is on a mission to transform the real estate industry using advanced AI and machine learning. The platform simplifies the way properties are searched, evaluated, and presented, empowering everyone from first-time buyers to institutional investors.

According to CEO El Skaff, "We're building the Bloomberg of real estate, a centralized platform where investors, agents, and institutions can access clean, structured, and actionable data.” Prop-AI processes over 3 billion data points, turning fragmented inputs into insights like underpriced units, emerging hotspots, developer risk, and ROI by floor level.

She added, “Real estate is nuanced, it’s not just about numbers, it's about context. Our AI is built to guide, not decide. We simulate investment scenarios, surface smarter recommendations, and flag hidden risks, but the user stays in control.”

The fresh capital will enable Prop-AI to expand its regional data infrastructure, accelerate AI development, and build partnerships with developers, brokerages, and financial institutions across MENA and globally.

El Skaff also addressed the cultural challenges of introducing AI to a traditionally relationship-driven market: “There was some pushback initially, but once brokers saw they could close deals faster with better-informed buyers, adoption began to grow.”As Prop-AI expands into new markets, its foundation in Dubai has proven to be an advantage. “Being born in Dubai gave us a unique edge, it’s fast-moving, diverse, and open to innovation,” said El Skaff. “But we know every market is different. Our infrastructure is built to adapt.”

She also advised the other founders, “Start with the problem, not the tech. AI is a powerful tool, but only if you’re solving something real. And don’t be afraid to build your own infrastructure, yes, it’s harder, but that’s where the moat is.”
